Nigeria's capital bans all protests
Following ongoing demonstrations against police brutality in Nigeria, authorities in Abuja and Rivers State have banned all protests.
As protesters in Nigeria continue to demand evidence of police reform, authorities in the capital city Abuja and in Cross River state announce a ban on all protests. It comes after President Muhammadu Buhari promised the disbandment of the infamous Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
