Heamoor's Julyan Wallis tells Dan how he became part of the 麻豆社's 'The Repair Shop'
The sound at the start of this piece is 麻豆社 Radio Cornwall's Dan Pascoe, strumming his late father's acoustic guitar.
It's a precious family heirloom - and the reason it's sounding so good is down to a Cornishman named Julyan Wallis.
Julyan runs the Guitar Doctor in Heamoor, and also taught Dan to play.
And now, Julyan's skills are being brought to a wider audience through the 麻豆社's popular show 'The Repair Shop'.
He's been telling Dan how the opportunity came about.
