Uganda president spokesman: Museveni "stuck by the rules"
Opposition presidential candidiate, Bobi Wine, has been freed on bail after being charged in court for violating covid-19 restrictions by holding a large rally on Wednesday. The Ugandan government of Yoweri Museveni has been coming under criticism both for its response to recent demonstrations, and for unfairly targeting the opposition in the run up to the elections in January. Focus on Africa's Esau Williams has been talking to Don Wanyama; he is President Museveni's spokesman.
