Is a made-in-Africa COVID-19 vaccine around the corner?
Clinical trials for COVID-19 vaccines in South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria show promising advancements, something which could encourage more people to take the vaccine. But issues with funding and medical infrastructures are slowing down the- process, says the co-ordinator for the immunisation and vaccine development in Africa at the World Health Organisation, Dr Richard Mihigo
