It's A Sin: Real life behind new drama
Ahead of new drama 'Its a Sin', we speak to two people who remember the outbreak of AIDS.
'It's a Sin' portrays a group of young gay men who move to London at the time AIDS began to appear in the early 1980s and the series starts Friday night on Channel 4.
Mishal Husain speaks to two people who remember the fear and confusion of that period, Jonathan Blake, who in 1982 became one of the first people diagnosed with HIV in the UK, and Lisa Power, who volunteered on the Lesbian and Gay Switchboard, went on to be a co-founder of Stonewall and was a historical consultant on the series.
