“My friends and family didn’t meet the real me until I came out”
Former Australia prop Dan Palmer became the first Wallabies player to come out as gay and did so in a newspaper column.
The ex-Brumbies star explained how hiding his sexuality had put him in a downward spiral.
In a wide-ranging interview with 鶹 Sportshour, Palmer spoke openly to Caroline Barker about his journey, and how a “massive weight” had been lifted from his shoulders.
