Former Australia prop Dan Palmer became the first Wallabies player to come out as gay and did so in a newspaper column.

The ex-Brumbies star explained how hiding his sexuality had put him in a downward spiral.

In a wide-ranging interview with 麻豆社 Sportshour, Palmer spoke openly to Caroline Barker about his journey, and how a 鈥渕assive weight鈥� had been lifted from his shoulders.
