Education and Covid: How could children make up for lost school time?
A total of 拢700m in educational funding has been set aside to help ensure 鈥渘o child is left behind鈥 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Many children have missed out on months of classroom teaching聽as a result of school closures.
An extra 拢400m in funding has been announced, along with 拢300m announced for catch-up projects in January.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the money will help ensure "no child is left behind" due to the pandemic.
Teachers, experts and unions called the money a "good start" - but warned about overwhelming pupils and teachers.
