'Expect an array of sweet dishes to mark the sweetness of starting a new year'
Moroccan Jews have a long history in the country, although now, only a few thousand still live there. Despite this the community still upholds its traditions. This weekend the Moroccan Jewish community are getting ready to celebrate Mimouna.
But what exactly is Mimouna? The 麻豆社's Nora Fakim has been finding out from Yona Elfassi who is from the Moroccan Jewish Community in Fez and is currently studying for a PhD about his community.
