Woosnam: The Masters, 30 Years On
Welsh golf legend Ian Woosnam & other stars of the game reflect on his triumph in 1991.
1991: Chesney Hawkes was number one in the charts; John Major was Conservative Prime Minister and Catherine Zeta-Jones made her first appearance in The Darling Buds of May.
It was also the year golfer Ian Woosnam became the first - and only - Welshman to win the Masters, and with it that very special green jacket.
To mark the momentous victory from 30 years ago, James Pontin speaks to Woosnam in an exclusive extended interview. He discusses his duel with Tom Watson at Augusta, and we hear from the man who walked every blade of grass alongside Woosnam, his Caddie 'Wobbly'.
James also hears the views of those who watched it live both inside the ropes and at home in Wales, and we get the thoughts of the greatest golfer ever to have played the game - 18 time major champion Jack Nicklaus.
So dust of your plus-fours and get ready for a trip down memory lane: the story of how Ian Woosnam became the One and Only Masters Champion in 1991.
