World Bee Day: How Africa benefits from wild bees
Africa is in an almost unique situation as most of its honey bees still live in the wild compared to many other parts of the world, says the Cape Town-based African Wild Bee Institute.
Jenny Cullinan from the The African Wild Bee Institute says bees are crucial for the planet's well being.
And in celebration of World Bee Day, 20 May, the Institute is calling on people across the continent to send in their stories and photos of bee sightings in their region. She made the clarion call in her conversation with Focus on Africa's Audrey Brown.
