Discussing the legacy of colonialism in Africa
After students at an Oxford University college in the UK voted to remove a portrait of the Queen of England from their common room, deeming it a symbol of "recent colonial history", the 麻豆社鈥檚 Esau Williams discusses the extent to which the continent still suffers from the legacy of colonialism. Musa Fadia is a student of journalism at the University of The Gambia, and Elikem Kotoko is a former coordinating secretary of the National Union of Polytechnic Students in Ghana.
