The Giver of Nicknames

This is the final story from the Caine Prize for African Writing by Rwandan-born R茅my Ngamije. In this extract聽 a schoolboy -聽 realising that he has been given a nickname at school - decides to give each pupil who joins his class a nickname too, but he realises that he has to be careful with the name he gives the rich boy Donovan Mitchell.
