President-elect of the World Hepatitis Alliance, Danjuma Adda from Nigeria, talks about the trauma of living with hepatitis B, and says he initially had no symptoms, so didn鈥檛 realise he was suffering from it. Danjuma is poised to become the first person from the Africa region to lead the organisation, when his term commences in January 2022. Focus on Africa is marking World Hepatitis Day, which is observed every year on July 28.
