Nigeria Information Minister Lai Mohammed has drawn parallels between the United States' difficulties in dealing with the Taliban insurgency in Afghanistan and Nigeria's challenges with home-grown terrorists like Boko Haram. Despite continuing reports of abductions and killings, particularly in the northeast of the country, Minister Mohammed says Nigeria overall is winning the war against terrorism.
