How Somalia鈥檚 political crisis affects the fight against Al-Shabab
Dr Mohammed Ibrahim Shire talks to Focus on Africa about how Somalia鈥檚 political crisis could affect the fight against Al-Shabab. The United Nations Security Council has called on the country鈥檚 political leaders to ensure that their disagreements do not hamper the fight against the militant group, in light of a rift between President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble. Al-Shabab says it was behind a car bombing near the presidential palace in Mogadishu this weekend, in which killed at least eight people were killed.
