Sudan: Beja protesters call off oil blockade
Members of the Beja community in eastern Sudan who had been blocking two crucial oil pipelines have called off their demonstrations after talks with the government. The protesters have agreed to open access to ports, roads and bridges, with the authorities warning of severe consequences if the blockages continue. The journalist Mohammed Alamin in Khartoum told Focus on Africa鈥檚 Bola Mosuro more about the situation.
