Squid Game is a South Korean drama series which pits desperate, debt-laden contestants against each other in a brutal survival game.聽It is the most watched Netflix series in over 90 countries. However, it has transpired that a supposedly fictional mobile number featured in the show actually belonged to a South Korean woman and that she has been deluged with prank calls. Netflix has now said it will edit out the phone number. 麻豆社 reporter Will Leonardo explains the impact of this and the action that Netflix has taken.
