The government declined to introduce further coronavirus restrictions after a two hour cabinet meeting yesterday. But the prime minister did say he did reserve the possibility of taking further action. Scientists are warning that any action that is going to have to be taken must be taken fast if it is to have any impact on slowing down the spread of Omicron.
