Ghana's 20ft Christmas tree made from plastic bottles
Traditional Christmas trees do not grow naturally in Ghana however, that has not stopped innovator Makafui Awuku and his team from making a one-of-a-kind Christmas tree of their own. With the help of some of the students at the prestigious Achimota Secondary in the capital Accra, they have created a 20ft structure made out of more that 1,000 discarded plastic bottles. Focus on Africa's Mark Wilberforce went to see it for himself.
