Big cats catch Covid-19 too
A South African study has found that big cats kept in zoos can catch Covid-19 from their keepers. Professor Katja Koeppel studied pumas and lions which, during the Delta wave of the pandemic, displayed similar respiratory symptoms as humans affected by the virus.
