Russia: 'Thousands' detained over Ukraine protests
There have been some protests against the war in Moscow and other Russian cities; the opposition leader Alexei Navalny - who's in prison - used social media to call on Russians to hold demonstrations daily.
Leonid Drabkin is a coordinator for OVD-Info, an independent human rights group in Russia; he told Newshour's James Menendez that some 7000 people have been detained in Russia for protesting against the Ukraine war - including women, children and even a dog.
