Franz Ferdinand Frontman: 'Fame always felt a little absurd'
Franz Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos spoke to 5 Live鈥檚 Nihal Arthanayake about his opinion of fame.
鈥淓ncounters with fame always felt a little absurd,鈥 he said.
He talked Nihal through some of the more notable experiences.
鈥淲alking up the red carpet to the Grammy鈥檚 in between Hulk Hogan and James Brown, that felt a little absurd,鈥 Alex laughed.
Attending a party hosted by R&B artist Usher who was 鈥渟tanding on a box holding two tiger cubs鈥 was a particular highlight.
鈥淲e鈥檙e just four guys from Glasgow,鈥 said Alex, still slightly perplexed at the band's global success 20 years on.
