Ugandan singer Kenneth Mugabi sings about love, climate change and domestic violence
The Ugandan afro soul singer songwriter Kenneth Mugabi has just released his latest album, his fourth, called People of the Land. It's in the local languages of Lusoga and Luganda as well as in English. It covers various themes from love, climate change, how young people navigate poverty, as well as social issues like domestic violence. Focus on Africa's Paul Bakibinga has been speaking to Kenneth Mugabi and began by asking what People of the Land is all about.
