France re-elects President Emmanuel Macron

Macron has secured another term as French president, in victory against Marine Le Pen

Emmanuel Macron has vowed to unite France and be a ‘President for all’ after his re-election as the country's leader. His rival, Marine Le Pen, secured the far-right's highest share of the vote yet but was unable to stop Mr Macron becoming the first French President in 20 years to win a second term in office.

Today’s Nick Robinson reports from Paris and speaks to Agnes Pannier-Runacher, French Industry Minister, as well as Bruno Gollnisch, board member of Le Pen’s National Rally party.
