Nominated in the fundraising category of the 麻豆社 CWR Make a Difference Awards is Scott and Sarah Crowther. Ben was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma in June 2018 and lost his fight against the illness a year later, aged 7. But his parents set up the fund in Ben's name in conjunction with the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group to raise money for research into the disease. Their campaign is called Pass the Smile.
The awards, held in September, will celebrate the people who have gone the extra mile for others.
