June Spencer, the last original cast member of The Archers, has retired from the 麻豆社 Radio 4 drama aged 103.
The actress has played matriarch Peggy Woolley (formerly Archer) since 1951.
Her last appearance was aired during the omnibus edition on Sunday, when she discussed getting a stained glass window commissioned of her two great-grandchildren.
In 2019 Today鈥檚 Martha Kearney spoke to June Spencer as she celebrated her 100th birthday. They talked about the highlights of her long career 鈥� and life.
