Kenyan start-up wins prize for sustainable sanitary pads
A Kenyan start-up has won the $1 million Hult Prize for its business idea: biodegradable sanitary pads made out of banana fiber. The prize is given annually to young people around the world to solve the planet's most pressing problems through social entrepreneurship.
