Martin Lewis reacts to government U-turns
Martin Lewis has been speaking to Radio 5 Live after Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has announced a string of U-turns on tax measures.
Speaking to Radio 5 Live鈥檚 Naga Munchetty, Lewis said he hopes the chancellor has brought back 鈥渁 level of stability鈥�, but that the country 鈥渃an鈥檛 rest on our laurels鈥�.
Despite the plans announced by the Chancellor, Martin says, 鈥渕any people in the country are still looking at difficult times in order to balance their personal budgets鈥� we need to continue to press hard in order to make sure we get through this鈥�.
鈥淐an we breathe a sigh of relief? No, but we can stop gripping the side of the chair,鈥� he says.
