Remembrance Day is a particularly important occasion for Nina Blinco, from Spondon, who lost her son Danny in 1993 in conflict.
He was serving in the Grenadier Guards in Northern Ireland when he was shot by a sniper in South Armagh.
Andy Twigge has been chatting to her about her son.
