Ruth Shelly and her husband Robert Oestmann may live in 2023, but you wouldn鈥檛 know it if you took a look at their lives.

The married couple from the West Midlands dress almost exclusively in 1930s attire, and have decorated their house with similar period pieces, including a 1936 wireless.

It was the perfect match, as both embraced the period style before they met.
听
Shelly, 29, explained how their lifestyle works, despite the 90 year time difference.

She said: 鈥淲e live in the modern world, we don鈥檛 hide away from it.
听
鈥淚 run a business, we have a computer, but this is what we like aesthetically, musically and very much being ourselves.鈥�
