TikTok recently held the first ever Top Creator awards ceremony in Africa to celebrate some of the continent鈥檚 biggest influencers on the app. We hear from Boniswa Sidwaba, TikTok鈥檚 Head of Content Programme for sub-Saharan Africa, who tells us the Africa is the platform鈥檚 fastest growing market. She talks to Audrey Brown about plans to make the app more accessible in countries where data is expensive and how they are tackling misinformation ahead of the upcoming elections in Nigeria.
