We've been celebrating some of the fantastic indie venues we have here in the West Midlands.

Hearing from places like The Robin in Bilston, the Hare & Hounds in Kings Heath, Sunflower Lounge in Birmingham city centre and Nortons in Digbeth.

Experts in the industry have been telling us how these places are vital in supporting and promoting new acts including radio DJ and legend Steve Lamacq, Nikki from Punch Records, Jez Collins from Birmingham Music Archive, Mazzy Snape from Bread Birmingham.

So here's our own tribute to the indie music scene.
