Liam from Merseyside was in Turkey as the earthquake struck
A man from Wirral on holiday in Turkey says he thought a war had started when the huge earthquake struck, devastating parts of the south of the country and Northern Syria yesterday.
37 year old Liam Simonsen from Birkenhead was in a hotel in Mersin at the time.
