Nigeria's naira shortage: President Buhari extends use of old notes

President Muhammadu Buhari has given approval for the country's old bank notes to remain in use until April.

In a bid to calm tensions over a lack of cash in Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has announced that one of the three naira banknotes being phased out will be reintroduced into circulation.
