East Africa鈥檚 electric vehicle transition
According to the UN Environment Program, there are at least 50 startups working on two- or three-wheeled electric vehicles in Kenya.
While the electric vehicles transition is still in its infancy, several African countries are now introducing tax and duty incentives for EVs. Muthoni Muchiri spoke to Ian Mbote, Expansion lead at the company Ampersand, a Rwanda-based electric motorcycle company to learn more about the sector.
