Marburg virus in Tanzania: "We have lost five people so far. I know three of them"
Tanzania is dealing with its first ever outbreak of Marburg virus. The outbreak has occurred in the north-western region Kagera. So far, five people have died from the virus and three others are being treated. Marburg can be fatal in up to 88% of people.
Byebazo Amos is living in one of the wards where the outbreak happened. He told Focus on Africa how people are feeling and what measures have been put in place to stop the spread.
