Jason Watkins lost his two-year-old daughter Maude in 2011 to sepsis.

The actor and his wife Clara are campaigning for more awareness of the signs of sepsis.

After the death of his daughter, Jason said he was 鈥渓ucky in some ways to go to work and be distracted鈥�.

He added that by playing a character who is also grieving, he can 鈥渁ccess [his] own feelings鈥� and communicate what it鈥檚 like to lose a child鈥�.
