Leicestershire plumber Kev Crane was spotted singing on a plumbing job, which earned him a record deal from New Reality Records in Loughborough, run by Paul Conneal.
After telling Â鶹Éç Leicester his story - he's now 'gone global', with interest from everywhere, including Hollywood.
Now his life story is to be turned into a major Hollywood film, written by British comedy writers Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais, who have written some of the most popular comedies on British Television including Porridge, The Likely Lads and Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, as well as feature films including The Commitments.
