Two-time boxing world champion, Carl Frampton, has had a widely decorated career but it hasn鈥檛 come without sacrifice.
In a new 麻豆社 documentary, Carl Frampton: Men in Crisis, he鈥檚 been exploring the prevalence of suicide and mental illness among young men.
Speaking on 5 Live鈥檚 Nicky Campbell phone-in he describes a stand-out moment that tested his relationship with his mental health.
鈥楳y wife had a tragedy in her family where two of her family members died but I was in training camps for fights鈥 never went home to support her,鈥� he remembers.
鈥業t still eats me up鈥eople talk about sportsmen have to be selfish to get to the top but there鈥檚 a balance,鈥� he says.
