Consumer finance expert Martin Lewis says many people miss out on claiming national insurance credits for looking after their grandchildren.

Speaking on his Â鶹Éç podcast, Martin says if a grandparent under the state pension age is looking after their grandchildren while the parents go out to work, they can claim a childcare credit which in turn can boost their pension.

"Many people miss out on that because it's little known about, but you can in some cases back-claim that," Martin says.
