In 2011, Shahbaz Taseer was kidnapped from his car on his way to work in the Pakistani city of Lahore. The men who took him, were Uzbeks, affiliated to the Islamic State Group. He was held captive for years, where he was tortured and brutalised. His abduction took place just months after his father, Salman Taseer, was assassinated by his body guard, for defending a Christian woman, Aasiah Bibi, who was facing the death penalty after being convicted for blasphemy against Islam. Newshour's Razia Iqbal spoke to Mr. Taseer.
