Pride month is a special time for many people here in Leicester, whether you're a member of the LGBTQ+ community, or an ally.

It's seen as a time to reflect and recognise the struggles the community has faced in the past to get us to where we are today with acceptance and inclusion.

But how does age and experience play a factor in feeling 'accepted'.
