A Leicester arts student has held an exhibition which she hopes will show Islam in a new light.

Nadia Girach has just completed a degree in fashion communication and styling at De Montfort University.

Her end of year show was an impressive photo book which explored different global cultures in Islam.

As a young Muslim woman Nadia wanted to incorporate her religion in a very personal way into her art and fashion.

Nadia's been telling Summaya Mughal where her passion for the subject stems from, and how the exhibition has been received.
