Natasha Shek from Lingfield was scammed while booking a break in Cornwall for her mother鈥檚 60th birthday.

Research by TSB suggests there has been a 50% increase in holiday fraud between 2021 and 2022, amounting to losses of almost 拢1m.

Over half of these scams took place on social media platforms.
