Police officer recalls confrontation with knifeman

PC Robert Davies recalls storming a Basingstoke home to save a family from a knifeman.

29 year old Kyle Butler of Cannon Close in Basingstoke has since been convicted of various offences, including attempted murder and has been jailed for life.

PC Robert Davies, PC James Pawley and PC James Langmead have been nominated at the National Police Bravery Awards for their roles in the incident.
