Ugandan Burnley fan predicts a win for the Clarets
The 2023-24 Premier League season kicks off with reigning champions Manchester City taking on Burnley, led by a modern Blues legend.
Vincent Kompany won 10 major trophies as a City player but will be in the opposition dugout after leading Burnley, known as the Clarets, back to the top-flight in his first season as their manager.
Odur Bruno from Uganda is a serious Burnley fan. He told Newsday: 鈥淚 see a win for us and even if the win doesn鈥檛 come鈥� we are going to be great this season鈥� It has always been my heart鈥檚 desire to come to turf more but currently I don鈥檛 even have a jersey because they don鈥檛 sell it in Uganda鈥� I believe when I have a son, he鈥檒l definitely be a Burnley fan so 10 years, 20 years down the road, we shall have a generation of Burnley fans! So let's go Clarets, we shall be many!鈥�
