Very sad news for Liverpool - Pete the busker or PM Rocky who has sung on Church Street for many, many years, has sadly passed away.

Peter Mickle was a familiar face to shoppers with his guitar and plastic microphone. His nephew Lee Casey said: "RIP Uncle Peter. Hope you are entertaining everyone up there already. You were a harmless, lovely, funny soul and you will be missed by so many people."

Someone who got to know him more than most is Adam Thompson. He started a project called Humans of Liverpool on social media back in 2018, highlighting the lives and stories behind many of the familiar faces of Liverpool

Pete the Busker was one of the first people he featured and he鈥檚 been telling Tony Snell more about the man behind the plastic mic.
