A Liverpool book shop which was able to open thanks to a donation from a mystery benefactor is celebrating its first birthday.

Dead Ink books on Smithdown Road also publishes work by northern authors.

Dead Ink launched a fundraiser last summer, but needed a big chunk of money up front. Thankfully, that cash came through from someone in the community who really wanted a local bookshop!
