How I came to foster over 200 children in Lewes
Karen Wheatley has been a carer for 34 years and has fostered more than 200 children, looking after them from new-born to leaving care. Many of the children Karen has helped keep in touch, and their own children call her Grandma.
She is a finalist in the Carer category of our Make a Difference Awards.
