Part of Liverpool's rich musical heritage is the legendary Probe Records. It's been in the city since the early 70's and was the key driving force in the post-punk scene here on Merseyside.

2 weeks ago we got the incredibly sad news of the death of co-founder Annie Davies, and now a further blow, as we have learned that Geoff Davies, who founded Probe Records with Annie, has passed away.

Tributes have flooded social media, calling him 'one of a kind' and a 'giant of the music scene'.
